CHURCH LEADERS – 2

Sharon Barker-Joseph

Sharon discovered Hilltop Christian Ministries through the Food Ministry that went to Three Elms every Friday.  God kept telling her that she should start attending church there and has been doing so for the last eight years.  Sharon was a registered nurse for 45 years before retiring a few years ago.  She is from Louisiana originally and now she and her husband live in Palmdale.  Over the years she has served the Lord as a member of the church choir, Sunday school teacher and following whatever other work the holy spirit led her to do.  Each Sunday, she can be heard offering up special prayers to the Lord on behalf of all members of Hilltop Christian Ministries.

Roe Leer

Roe was born in Wurzburg, Germany.  His Army father was subsequently stationed in numerous US locations, including Panama.  Roe enjoyed math, baseball, choir and hunting & fishing with his dad.  Roe graduated from Baylor University in 1977 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theater/Acting.  He married Diana in 1982 and moved to Palmdale in 1987, where both have been Realtors ever since. Roe served in Realtor leadership and received several awards. In 2004 they moved to Juniper Hills and subsequently joined Hilltop Christian Ministries. He now serves as Treasurer and leads a Christian book club.  He is active in spreading God’s work through his various church activities sharing the good news of the prophecies, arrival, death & resurrection of Jesus, our Savior.  Hallelujah!

Bob Witt

Bob grew up in New Jersey spending a great deal of time with his grandparents on their farm. When he was 12 years old, his parents, brother and sister moved to Ingelwood, CA.  Bob attended parochial school.  He went to college and entered the aerospace industry working for North America Aviation.  He soon tired of spending his days in an office and long for a vocation that would allow him to spend time moving around in the beautiful outdoors that God created for us to enjoy.  He went to the University of Texas where he studied farrier science.  After 45 years working with horses and other animals, he retired happy in the decision he had made many years before.  His special interest has been hunting while riding on the back of mules. Bob does volunteer work serving his community in various capacities.  He married Evelyn in 2010 and they joined Hilltop Christian Ministries where he has served on the Board for several years to date.
